CEREMONIAL GROUNDS IN OKLAHOMA.
This is where we gather to celebrate & practice the old ways.
Activities include Dancing, Stickball, Green Corn, & Touching Medicine.

 

" women wear the shackers on their legs to make the rhythm for the dance. the men use two
ball sticks each as part of a team that represent a town or ground when
playing against another team. this is for the purpose of settling a dispute;
it was how we made war. today it is a game to remember our ancestors."
